I) Chlorinated Paraffin Wax (CPW)
CHLORINATED PARAFFIN IS A CLEAR TO PALE YELLOW VISCOUS LIQUID WITH A DISTINCT SWEET ODOUR. IT IS INSOLUBLE IN WATER BUT SOLUBLE IN OTHER CHLORINATED SOLVENTS. IT IS USED IN PVC COMPOUNDS, WIRES & CABLES, SEALANTS, RUBBER, ADHESIVES, EXTREME PRESSURE ADDITIVES FOR LUBRICANTS AND METAL WORKING FLUIDS.
Properties :-
• Clear to pale yellow viscous liquid with a distinctive sweet odor
• Insoluble in water. Soluble in various petroleum and chlorinated solvents.
• The material is stable under normal ambient and anticipated storage and handling conditions of temperature and pressure.
II) Dioctyl phthalate (DOP)
Dioctyl phthalate isÂEFFICIENT, LOW VOLATILITY, ANTI-COLD AND HOT, LOW OFFSET, WATERPROOF AND ANTI-UV, GOOD ELECTRICAL CAPACITY. DIOCTYL PHTHALATE IS USED IN PVC, PE AND CELLULAR, SUCH AS FILM, CABLE, ARTIFICIAL LEATHER, PIPE, SHEET MATERIAL, MOULD PLASTIC, OR USED AS A SOFTENER OF RUBBER.
Properties :-
• Stable under ordinary conditions of use and storage.
• The material is a clear liquid has a slight odor.
• Boiling Point/Range of 386°C (lit.)
